Having spent most of the weekend pruning 21 rather large connifers, my mind has turned to the modelling of numerous types of trees for my Rugby Parkway layout. I have several hand made trees which are ready for 'planting' and many types of trees from an assortment of manufacturers. What are your thoughts on modelling trees?

Well, in the 20 minutes I`ve actually had spare so far this week, I have been doing some quick experiments. I have been looking at alternative methods for tree construction, as I still need dozens more for the layout. I may have come up with a very simple (If somewhat bizarre) solution.

A tease as always, watch this space...... cute kitty
