Victoria also has an entry, of a tgv in Brussels. This is sitting on our computer at home and will be allowed to enter! Hopefully the image will be able to be uploaded tomorrow.

Thankyou, and goodnight

Nearly forgot to enter myself... Embarassed

First off is 90015 after arriving at its destination on the 1830 Norwich to London Liverpool Street. Recently done up (at the time) into National Express colours, this one actually features on my desktop and not a HST for the first time in, well, months!

Next up is 57603, believed to be the last 57/6 in FGW 'Fag Packet' colours, stands at Exeter St. Davids whilst working the Down Bodysnatcher (aka the Down Midnight or whatever your preferred term is) on the way to Penzance on 30th August 2008.

Final entry is of 43053 now at the helm of 1M28, the 1522 Newquay to Manchester Piccadilly on 30th August 2008. On the other end but not viewable is 43317 in National Express East Coast colours, which had led the set into Newquay on 1V29, the 0724 Manchester Piccadilly to Newquay. Both of these services are Summer Saturday 'Holidaymaker' services (never advertised as such with AXC, a brand lost when Virgin finished with XC) and have now finished for 2008. 43053 was the last Valenta-fitted power car to reach Newquay. It was the end of an era, to go next year with MTU-fitted power cars won't be the same. Anyway, before I get too emotional, here's 43053 at Newquay awaiting the return to Manchester:

Enjoy.

Actually that photo of the blue 86 from Jason ain't half bad you know!

I myself managed to take a whopping 0 photos last month. I'm hoping to exceed that number by 1 or 2 this month, and try and get an entry in for September's competition.

By the way, to save me reading through all the hundreds of unread posts that I've missed over the last few months, do I remember some change being mentioned about the way POTM is to be decided each month? A change in the voting procedures to prevent tie-breaks or something? Or did I imagine this....? Confused

It was to happen, but none of us can decide on the best way to do things yet.
