But I still prefer my pooch.

This is true.

This is because cats have more sense - they know you'll feed them even if they ignore you all the time...

Which proves that cats are more intelligent, but also more devious.
Where as a dog may be a bit dim, but he's always your best mate.

Heres one of mine by the way

His names Monty. He's part Staffordshire Bull Terrier & part English Bull Terrier although much of the time he thinks he's human. We also have a pure Staffy called Ellie who is his mum.

I still prefer dogs, but don't have one. Rolling Eyes

What is that saying? Cats look down on you, dogs look up to you and pigs regard you as their equal. Laughing

I hit a cat with my car this morning, it just ran out of a hedge right in front of me, I didn't stand a chance of avoiding it. Although I gave it quite a resounding clout I could see in my mirror that it picked itself up and ran off amid a lot of flying fur.

Certainly don't like cats (always after my goldfish), but would have preferred not to have hit this one this morning. Sad

By the way, did anyone see the programme on telly the other night re pedigree dogs? Very upsetting I thought, being a dog lover myself (and ex-owner of a Cavalier King Charles that we had to have put down at the grand old age of 16years).

I had to go to the pub Wink to avoid watching dogs with purpose bred disabilities and listen to the heartless breeders who tried to justify their pitiful pastime. At least we don't harm innocent animals with our pastime(s)
