here is a video of a train climbing out of Tyne Dock, I think the incline is
1 in 37:-

When I think of Tyne Dock, I think of the TD-Consett ore trains behind 0-8-0's or 9F's with another pushing. Wink

My Grandad used to drive to consett from Tyne Dock.He did 46 years on the foot plate.

He finished driving 125 s to london from newcastle and up to Edinburgh , he also used to drve class 47s on the tran pennine service,the time he finished was just as the 225 s were coming out, thou he never drove them.

I found a video of him driving a 31 at Gateshead shed,I will post the link:-

he is driving 31296 at 5 minutes and 6 seconds.
