Last week I purchased a gizmo to convert VHS videos to digital and burn to DVD. I just put up a clip of trains passing Amington, near Tamworth, taken in 1992 onto youtube. Class 87's for Jason. Wink

I have managed to find my Pinnacle PCTV box from our previous computer, but It`s not installing. Possibly due to Vista?

Even if it did install, I reckon I`d need a seperate program to actually 'capture' the footage to burn to the PC or Disc......

It looks like the one Alan purchased does everyhting, and is easy enough to use?

It may be better, or possibly cheaper to buy a new system! Let me see.....

The one I use is extremely simple. Then I edit with WMM for putting on youtube, and with Pinnacle for burning to dvd.

Correct! (I use it as it is very user-friendly - and is free). Wink

But no good for burning dvds, so I use Pinnacle, whick I purchased.
