Sorry Darryl, had one of my mad moments. Kira is one of our cats. (As is Toby!) Kira always bangs her head under the bed, similar to Toby banging his head under a bridge I suppose.....
Best thing is to............. |

I have to say Diesel is my favourite.
I love the way he snirs, eggs the trucks on and generally causes nowt but mischief.
However, at the other end of the spectrum is James. A very classy & friendly engine! |

And rams trucks, runs into tar wagons...
Favourite for me? Umm, I do like Thomas, but I like Gordon as well. Big express engine with no time for branch or freight work. Got his priorities straight!
Having said the above, I liked all of them a lot because it was THE thing I'd watch, THE books I'd read, when I was a kid. Indeed, it was the only thing that would shut me up at some points back then! Maybe that's what caused the roots of my modern-day enthusiasm... _________________ Julian

James was my favourite, mainly because he was red, which was my favourite colour back then.
I also liked the miniature railway engines, but I can't remember any of their names.
My first ever train set came with a two car DMU which was inevitably christened Daisy.
As a kid, I loved these books so much that when I had picked my three for the week from our library, I would hide the next three behind other books to make sure they were still there when I came back. |

I always liked Donald and Douglas!!!!
A pure co-incidence, but what colour was Douglas?
(And yes, I know they were BOTH the same colour!) |
