Thanks all for the warm welcome - glad I could help solve your query.

The transponders were mounted on the UP and DOWN fast lines of the WCML at least every 1km so there were quite a lot of them ! perhaps you could collect one of every kind...

Wouldn't the cost of installing all the transponders have contributed to the death of APT?
