I advertised this one before but I might as well put it here also.

An Irish GM leaving Kildare.

I found this one that shows off our Mk 4 trains quite well. It shows a set coming around the side of Cork Station, from the yard.

Yes, I know, but the Irish Sea stopped them spreading here for quite a while. Mr. Green

Oh well - at least they're here now!

That first video has a great diffraction effect with the light on the side of the coaches as it leaves the station - it produces that strange 'purple curtain' effect! Nice Cool

Two videos from Dublin Connolly yesterday:
082 leaving with evenung departure to Sligo. This is platform 5 in Connolly, whereas the Sligo train normally goes from 3, but due to the match specials trains were moved around.

087 leaving with a match special comprised of a Mk.3 Push/Pull set except there is a guards van replacing the DVT.

Those GM's are fairly quiet machines. The coaches look good. Cool

I told my brother to record 082 before it left as the driver the revving the engine up to full power for a few minutes, but he wouldn't. I do have a video of a noisy 201 on the Belfast train I might put up later.

I shall upload some more tomorrow, but here is 206 leaving Dublin Connolly with an Enterprise service to Belfast today. These are probably the noisiest trains on the network, due to the Head End Power used to power the carriages.

Refurbished LHB DARTs leaving Connolly:

085 reversing into Connolly:

219 leaving on another Enterprise service:

Enjoy!

The staggered platforms make a great place to video a departing train. Smile

203 and Mk.3s leaving Kildare yesterday. I am now convinced 203 is stalking me as every time I go to Kildare or Dublin Heuston, it's there!!

078 is uncoupled from its train and waiting for the Mk4 set to pass before it runs round.

078 passing through Kildare as it runs round the container train.
