This is an experiment and the result means nothing in POTM terms but the result may help us develop a new voting method for this competition so your help would be appreciated.

The object of the first round is to vote for your favourite photographer.
You may vote for a photographer because you like a single picture or because you like two or all of them.
Only pictures belonging to the top 4 photographers will go through to the next round.
Voting will be for 7 days.

I know this was my idea but this is a heck of a hard decision to make. Confused

i agree

In the end I voted for Mumrar because of his consistent quality - although I'm probably not being totally fair as I'm looking at more than just this month's photos.

However, if I'd restricted my deliberations to this months photos alone I don't think I'd have been able to come to a decision at all, so would probably have ended up not voting at all.

Rather difficult! Went for D. CraigS in the end, although was tempted by several others.

I am finding it hard to vote by photographer. I like the concept though.

After a difficult decision, based purely on what I've seen from him this month, I have voted for Mumrar.

Everyone entered excellent photos and could have voted for anyone. Mumrar just had the edge this time round.

If we are going to move the forum then there is no point in carrying on at the moment.
What I did propose was all the photos from the top 4 would go into a standard run off. reducing the number of photos to chose from.
I think we should tryout the multi choice on the new forum first before going any further
