Yet another tie break or July part deux
Since I put the poll up for the original competition I better put the tie break up now.
Nunney Castle is obviously the flavour of the month but who will win?
You decide
Will it be
Photo A 5029 'Nunney Castle' by Mumrar
or
Photo B Nunney Castle by Jason.
Poll set to run for seven days from today or send your vote on the back of a five pound note to me _________________ D6841

strangely this post appeared twice, I have deleted one.
I have never seen that happen before on this forum although I have seen it on other forums. Has this ever happened to anyone else? _________________ D6841

Can't say I've had that problem over here, but it does happen elsewhere sometimes.
As for the tie-break, I've gone with Jason's photo. No particular reason, but I guess I just find that one with an ever so slightly better angle (both are great but this one just clinched it for me this evening). Both are very similar which made it hard to choose. Nevertheless, my vote is cast.
EDIT: I don't believe it...My vote has made it 3 each! Let's hope the situation resolves itself soon! _________________ Julian

Mumrar's photo gets my vote! It's the blue sky that does it (traction means nothing to a shed fan after all...) _________________

So I did but the posting doubled up for some reason and I wasn't sure if the poll had closed. I was hoping Jason could check. _________________ D6841

was actually left open-ended, but the 7 days since posting las lapsed, so I guess I`ll have to accept victory! Thanks to all who voted!
Congratulations also to Mumrar - a worthy runner up! |

I had a feeling something like that was going to happen. Thanks for checking it out Jason and congratulations as well. Well done to Mumrar also. _________________ D6841

Well done Jason, that's two tie-break victories over me in a row, so I guess you're the photography equivalent of being good in a penalty shoot out!
It was always gonna be tough to choose between these two shots, but it went to show that the loco whilst not considered the best, was certainly in the top one (apologies for stealing from Brian Clough - but a legendary statement from a legendary man) _________________ Much love, peace out
