My site has over 4000 photos which have mainly been taken in London and the South East of England at many preserved railways/centres and also stations and lineside locations on the national network. I do venture further afield sometimes so there are photos taken outside L&SE. Also theres plenty of photos of steam, diesel and electric locos as well as multiple units.

In the next few months I will be adding a selection of scanned photos taken from 2003-2006. The quality of these aren't great but there are some intersting photos (in my opinion).

Enjoy Smile

I have had a quick look at your site this morning and it looks very interesting. Over the next few days I will have a longer more detailed look.
4000 photos, It's going to take a bit of time to look through them.

Just updated my August Part 2 Collection with two photos taken today on one of my local lines. The photos are of 37608 and 37612 working 1Q14 Selhurst-Lovers Walk SERCO Test Train and seen at Crowhurst on the Hastings-Tonbridge line. I saw it again around an hour later at a foot crossing in St leonards where I got a video of it thrashing past.

Just updated my site again with a photo of P class no. 753 l/e at Cranbrook Road l/c on the K&ESR and 37608 leading 1Q14 Selhurst-Dudding Hill SERCO at Harrietsham. I also videoed 1Q14 when it was heading back to London after a reversal in Sevington freight loop at Lenham.

Another update from me.

I went to the Midland Railway Centre at Butterley yesterday (via the Woking-Swanwick Tour organised by Past Time Rail/UK Railtours and powered by 67003 + 67021) for their Midland Railway Works Open Day Event. A wide range of locomotives were on display including classes 20, 25, 31, 33, 40, 44, 45, 46, 47, 50 and class 52.

Locomotives in use during my visit were LMS Red 3F Jinty 16410 (specially painted for the event), Ex S&DJR 7F 53809, Standard 4MT Tank 80098, Standard 5MT 73129, 9F 92214, class 03 D2138, 08590, 20189 and 31108. A couple of DMUs were also in use, 101692 being used on the former Swanwick Colliery Branch (first time this section was open to passengers) and a class 114/1 + 127 being used on the Codnor South curve.

I have also updated my August 08 Part 2 collection with non-MRC photos. The photos were taken on the Railtour and include;

66586/425/585 and 67016 at Peterborough
Stored class 60s and 67s at Toton
43050/061 at Nottingham
EMT 158s at Nottingham Eastcroft Depot
67021/003 being passed by a 156/153 combo near Grantham

I believe the P class design was based on the Terriers.

I went to the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway yesterday and I have updated my site with photos from my day there. Locos 2 "Northern Chief", no. 3 "Southern Maid", no. 4 "The Bug", no. 5 "Hercules", no. 7 "Typhoon", no. 8 "Hurricane" and no. 12 "John Southland" were in use during the day. No. 14 "Captain Howey" was also used for a little shunting during the evening at New Romney.
