There was talk of the forum moving to new host with new software etc. Would moving the forum allow for a more complex voting system Question

Hi all,
I have returned from my three day trip to Cardiff and London and my first entry is of a very wet XC 170 519 in Newport on Monday 18th August. I shall be uploading more pics later to my fotopic site.

Just a little...wet! Laughing

Glad to see it does work now and again then, only need 518 and 519 to see for the year to clear the class for yearly sight (feels like a long time ago since I needed any of the 170/6s for yearly sight now).

Oh, and I should add that I like the photo. Certainly captures the atmosphere of this year's summer well!

Continueinig the theme, 66430 rests at Carlisle in torrential rain- this was taken at about 2pm- you'd never tell from the light...

PS, are we allowed Railway pics without a train?

^Anything to do with railways is allowed if I recall correctly. One of last years photos was of the signals in Barnetby (it might be on this months page).

Anyhoo, my second entry is another wet one from Newport on Monday 18th of Leo, or 09017.

I love those rainy pictures. thumbs up!

If we had any trains running, I would have had lots of opportunity for "wet" shots. Rolling Eyes

It'll be that or we'll have an indian summer the day the kids go back to school. Lots of sunshine and heat coming our way...

*Crosses fingers in hope*

Nice photos Dave, surprised just how wet it is there!

Another good shot csalem, looks bizarre to see Newport in torrential rain (usually fair dry when I go there). Got to be the first time I've seen a shunter entered for photo of the month.
