I'm becoming convinced this is a conspiracy. If you dislike the 66's, then you can guarantee that all the high numbered, or rare, or brand new ones will make an appearance. Actually have the intention to go out and photograph the things and you get meagre offerings like 66058 or 66192 or perhaps 66506, like I did the other day, while the rest of the country is out photographing 596/597/421+/587+/728+....

Laughing Laughing Laughing

You'll get them one day! I still need 66586, 587 and 595 (as well as the newly delivered ones of course) so I'm still not finished with the FL ones. You'll possibly recall I was after 66158 for over 3 years before I eventually got it! Now seen it 4 times!

It does surprise me that I've got 66s that you need, yet you're the 66 fan!

Passed 66573 on the way into London this afternoon on the Thamesport - Grain intermodal. Do I have a photo of it? No. Did I have my camera? No. This is how it goes every day. (My bag was too heavy for a camera before someone says it)! Like I say, conspiracy Twisted Evil

Well as it happens d6841, that's the only high numbered DRS 66 I have a photo of. The next highest is 413!!! Clearly I have some gaps to fill. I got 430 at Doncaster last year, and of course, have never seen it (or any other DRS 66) since blimeyitsfuming

OK, I think I'll try this for my second entry. A pair of HST's passing each other just outside Didcot station, nicely divided by a signal!

I've been waiting to see what else the month holds for me, but due to house moving/decorating I am certain nothing else is going to be shot of note this month. So my final two for this month are

47828 on scrap at Stoke Works

66415 with Washwood Heath No.1 box in view, moves away from Duddeston Junction with hoppers for Daw Mill Colliery

My first 2 entries feature 47s:

47237 with a Mk. 1 barrier at Pangbourne.

47712 leads the Ascot Stobart Pullman past Amen Corner in the evening sun.

Leaving the third until after tomorrow I'm going to go out for the 1001 charter!

Mumrar, I'm loving the 66415 photo! Nice snaking rake of coal gondolas there thumbs up!:

As for IKB081 - my favourite so far is 47237. I'm loving that lineside location.

It's gonna be tough to decide what to vote for this month I feel Confused

I've tried to photograph that loco in Ipswich and Southampton and have failed on each occasion due to bad lighting conditions and/or bad weather. It doesn't want to be photographed. Even in your shot it is hiding behind the 08! Laughing
