You'll need to re-think your second entry because images have to be landscape for the calender, but it's up to Jason whether the rules can/will change in the future.

We will be sticking to 'lanscape only' for the rest of the year at least. It simply makes producing the calendar easier for both myslef and the printers.

Why not have a one off competition for portrait photos. No prizes, just for fun.
no limit as to time taken. Max 3 entries per person usual sort of rules.
It would also give a chance to compare landscape and portrait. Just an idea, who's up for it Question

As it happens, I was thinking of adding another section 'for fun' such as a weekly picture for example. I thought about making a themes for the pictures, such as infastructure, countryside, units only, people, close-ups etc.............

Perhaps I can do this, but each picture has to be portrait!???

One thought I had was that (this is just an idea for discussion) last years front page was made up of the best of the rest. what about using a portrait style photo on the front page.
2-3 competitions between now and the end of the year and a Tie break of all the winners.

This is also a possibility!

However, I am going ahead and setting up a new section where you can enter a weekly photographis competition. Each week will have a seperate theme....... Watch this (Or another) space!!!
