Heres a photo I took in the summer. It`s an old kind if rail which has been utilised as part of a fence in a field in Oxfordshire.
Does anyone have any info on this?

Well spotted (and photographed!) |
Well spotted indeed. I would have thought it was just an old bit of twisted metal and walked on by. _________________ D6841

Maybe I`ve had too much brandy, but I cannot see any mention of Bridge rail on this page???
I recently read a book from the library called 'Track' by some chap called Mr.Pike. I`m sure it featured in that book.
Does anyone have this book to peruse? |

By the way Bridge rail was bolted to longitudinal sleepers on bridges. _________________ D6841
