This is a DMU I scratchbuilt for the same customer who had the Western diesel. Note the destinations say Spalding on one end and Kelowna the other! This would be a rather long run for the unit!

The unit had on board batteries and control unit. At the flick of a switch on the inner end of one car it would gradually accelerate, another flick and it slows to a stop. Good fun trying to stop it at the station I am told!
